Acceptable Journals for Article Reviews


Note: articles from back issues are fine. At Newman Library on the Virginia Tech campus, back issues are bound and can be located by their call numbers on the shelves with books. Current issues (which usually includes the past year or so) are also arranged by call number. However, they are located in special sections on two floors. Ask the person at the front desk. That person can also tell you where the alphabetical journal title listings are, from which you can get the call number. I've included call numbers for some of the journals.

Once you go to the shelf where the journal is located, you may notice other journals close by on similar subjects. Call numbers as assigned by subject, so this is to be expected. As long as it's a scholarly journal (articles with references), you should be OK even if the journal isn't listed below.

You may also wish to note that Tech's library has its own photocopy cards for use there. There are machines in several places for purchasing a card.
